It's been a while since I've posted new items in the shop. Since it's craft show season, I haven't had the opportunity to keep much inventory in stock, but because of a show being canceled this past weekend, I happen to have LOADS of inventory right now!

I am so excited!

My good friend, Karla, from Addie Pie in the Sky, allowed me to borrow her dressform for the weekend. It was so great having it at my show yesterday, but also to snap a few fresh photos of my inventory for the shop and some upcoming advertisement! It was so sweet of her to help me out!

Spring Accessories in the Shop!

What my days have looked like...

Good morning! Now that I can FINALLY upload pictures onto blogger... I need to share what I've been up to!

As you know, we had a few snowdays over the last two weeks. I decided to dig through my yarn stash and use up some yarn that has just sorta been sitting around. It's not the best quality yarn, but I thought it would at least make for a really brightly colored blanket!

I have been sewing these awesome tags into all my cowls and hats thanks to this cute etsy shop!

I have also been using these pretty colors to make quite a few necklaces for our Spring Update in the shop!

And have been busting out my bedazzled crochet hook from this DIY to make a few statement scarves!

Spring Collection Sneak Peak...

I was fortunate enough to have an ICE day today (loads of ice is coming our way... almost an inch expected!) so I'm using my time wisely: snapping photos, editing, uploading, etc.

Happy February!

It's hard to believe January has already come and gone.

As you can see over ---> there on the toolbar there is an updated Events schedule. February is pretty busy for us with crochet classes and craft events, let alone all the blog stuff happening this month! It's really exciting :)

This week I am hopefully completing a photoshoot of my spring line and finishing up all the loose ends on the final products. It's all very cute and I love it. It's all so perfect for spring!

Learn to Crochet Giveaway!

I just found out that I will be teaching a "Learn How to Crochet" class in February or March of 2011 with a close friend of mine (yay!) in Frederick, Maryland and the fun news prompted this giveaway!

As you could easily tell, we find December to be very special over here.

When I was thinking of a name for my blog and shop, I knew I needed to include 'Donna,' as it was my grandmother's name who taught me to crochet, but I needed to add little something to it. I was thinking a lot about my grandmother at the time, as it was right before she passed away in January. I was thinking about everything we have in common: crafting, public service, caring for others. Then it struck me: December! We both had December birthdays!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Good afternoon!

I hope each and every one of you has a wonderful and very special Thanksgiving.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting much this week. I have been struck with a high fever and a pretty bad cough. Most nights when I come home from work, I am so exhausted I just want to go to bed.

Anyway... with that being said... I am at my mother's house today relaxing and enjoying my family and a delicious meal.
