Keeping Your Hooks in Order!

Take a minute to answer the following questions:

1. Where are your crochet hooks right this minute?
2. Are all your crochet hooks together in the same place?
3. Are your crochet hooks in a plastic bag?
4. Are your crochet hooks in a durable, portable contraption that will keep them safe and clean?

Depending on your answer, this post could really save you A LOT of time, energy, and stress!

In March of 2010 I went to NYC for a nice long weekend to visit my BFF, Lisa. While I was there, I visited Lion Brand Yarn Studio for the very first time, and of course, was in total love with the place. As I was deciding which purchase to make before I left, I noticed they had a small table of items to help you keep your hooks and notions organized. That's when I found a selection of crochet hook cases handmade by Crippenworks. Even though I got my case via LBY, I thought I would share a little about their Etsy shop and how much I truly love my Crippenworks case!

Here's what my case looks like:

It's nice and rolled up. I can throw it in my yarnbag, my purse, a suitcase, or just leave it out on the table. I don't have to worry about anything because the elastic band keeps my hooks organized and safe. Nothing can possibly slip out of this case when it is rolled up!

Now let's see what the inside looks like:

I probably force my case to hold a few too many hooks (around 25). Either way, as you can see there is tons of room, the pockets are very deep, and I love the protective flap so the hooks don't rub against one another. It keeps them slick and shiny!

Now, if you don't like my color combo, good news, Crippenworks has LOADS of colors to choose from!

I strongly support Crippenworks' products. As mentioned, I have had mine for a year and it is incredibly durable and still is just as pretty as it was a year ago when I bought it!

For just $18, it's the perfect birthday gift for your girlfriend who is just beginning, or your grandmother who is shocked at how far crochet has come!

  1. I confess - mine are currently in a plastic bag! I keep thinking I'll make myself an organizer but perhaps I should just go ahead and get one of these!
