Good morning!
With all the National Craft & Crochet Month happenings over here... I haven't given you a Crochet Inspiration Sunday in a while... so without further adieu..
This time of year, when my mind is slipping into spring territory, but my feet are still very much so stuck in winter, I rely on a trusted beauty, the peacock, to pull me through. My favorite southern writer, Flannery O'Connor, used peacocks all the time. When sending her friends letters, she would attach a beautiful peacock feather. Throughout her very short life, the peacock feather became her signature. I love that thought!
Here are some crocheted peacock items that I am inspired by right now!
xo,
Liz
That peacock collar is fantastic, I have never seen anything like it! Shame it's been sold :(
ReplyDeleteLiz! You and I are channeling the same energy right now! You will understand this when I send you my DIY! Crazzzzy my jaw dropped when I saw this post! Those are beautiful pieces, I love the collection you put together.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome idea for inspiration! That CraftGossip peacock blanket is one that I found via Google Images (posting it on that site made me a winner of the awesome Twinkie Chan book - thanks again CraftGossip!) I have been trying forever to find out who the Etsy shop owner was that made it and still don't know so if anyone figures it out I'd love to hear about it!
